Congress – Jesse Jackson Jr., D-Ill – Winner- Stupidest Statement This Year

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. Calls on Government to Hire All Unemployed Americans for $40,000 Each
brainsess-clueless Brain dead and clueless! Jessie Jackson Jr is in the news spotlight again.

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. has offered his own $804 billion jobs plan that calls on the federal government to hire the nation’s 15 million unemployed Americans for jobs paying roughly $40,000 each, and bail out all the states and cities facing budget crises. {Unemployment problem solved! Force Tax Payers to pay 15 million unemployed $40,000 thousand each annually!}

Jessie Jackson Jr compares the U.S.Congressional gridlock to the states that seceded from the union during the Civil War. {How Ignorant!}

Jackson said “the government’s direct hiring of the nation’s 15 million unemployed Americans would (only) cost $600 billion. {Where does this dip-stick think that $600 billion dollars annually will come from?}

Jackson said “That’s the only way out of this crisis. And I hope the president begins to continue to exercise extraordinary constitutional means based on the history of Congresses that have been in rebellion in the past.”

“In Rep. Jackson’s entire congressional career, he has never introduced a single jobs bill.” Debbie Halvorson, who is challenging Jackson in the Democratic primary, said in a written statement. “Now, he’s(Jackson is) calling on the president to suspend the Constitution? As a representative of the people, you don’t give up when you hit a roadblock and throw the Constitution out the window.

Jessie Jackson Jr, Another golden oldie. Jesse Jackson Jr. said “iPad Kills Jobs ‘Why do you need to go to Borders anymore?’ The real culprit behind American unemployment? The iPad, says congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. said It’s “probably responsible for eliminating thousands of American jobs.” Just look at Borders’ bankruptcy, he noted on the House floor “Why do you need to go to Borders anymore? “What becomes of publishing companies and publishing company jobs?” Jackson asked. “What becomes of bookstores and librarians and all of the jobs associated with paper? Well, in the not too distant future, such jobs simply won’t exist.” He slammed the gadget’s overseas production as well, adding that “there is no protection for jobs here in America.”

Change in political winds, Jackson said last month, “The iPad was “revolutionizing” America and called for an “iPad for every student in the nation.”
