What a bunch of Idiot’s!
UK: Gloucestershire Plans for a gas plant in rural Gloucestershire have been thrown out. National Grid planned to build a facility, that would handle 20% of the nation’s gas, at Tirley, near Tewkesbury.
There has been fierce opposition to this plan from some locals who feared their country view would be ruined. National Grid said the planned plant was vital to complete a 200-mile pipeline plan to carry gas from its terminal at Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire.
‘National importance’ Company spokesman said: “Company we are very disappointed with this decision. “Secretary of state has confirmed a compelling need for this installation. It’s of national importance for our gas supplies. Planning offices recommended this plan saying national need outweighed any possible environmental concerns.
Why is Common Sense so Uncommon?
